You *are* new here, aren't you?  Nothing is good AND cheap in Japan.
Unfortunately, 'bad and expensive' is all too prevalent, however.  If I
were you, I'd stay away from laptops with the neomagic video chipset, if
you can still find one that doesn't have one.
