Although, you and your browser should be able to read a little japanese to understand them. The big stores like Laox and T-Zone are usually more expensive, but you can look at the merchandise before you buy, in contrast to the cheaper shops, where you can just see the boxes. That`s probably what makes the difference in price. If you haven`t been to Akihabara before it is probably pretty hard to find the really cheap shops. You should get someone to go with you and show you around. There is a website with a map (http://www.akiba.or.jp/map/index.html). If you look at it, there are some good shops along the street between 15 and 16.
