I used to do this before when we I logged into a terminal server
that wasn't using PAP.  However, if your ISP uses PAP, you will
not get a username and login prompt.  The world is kind of moving
toward PAP, so I think Eric should first find out if you ISP uses
PAP or not.  If it is, you'll have to login with PAP and will not
get a username or password prompt.
