Hi all, On 27-May-98 Rex Walters wrote: > I agree that the > ability to render standardized markup like HTML would be nice. > (Whoa... what if Mozilla had a presentation mode?!!) In a sense, JavaScript provides a Mozilla presentation mode. It's possible to 'turn off' most of Mozilla's features like this: aPopUp=window.open('','Note','toobar=no,location=no, directories=no,status=no,scrollbars=yes, resizable=yes, copyhistory=no,width=300,height=200') and then set the width and height to match your screen. When the new window opens, most of the clutter is gone and you have a full screen for the presentation. I've done this for slide shows, but never a full screen; hmm, something new to play with;-) Regards, Jim S. ---------------------------------- Jim Schweizer <schweiz@example.com> #include <disclaimer.h> "Murphy's Law, that brash proletarian restatement of Godel's Theorem ..." -- Thomas Pynchon, "Gravity's Rainbow" http://www1.harenet.or.jp/~schweiz/ ---------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- Next TLUG Meeting: 13 June Sat, Tokyo Station Yaesu gate 12:30 Featuring Stone and Turnbull on .rpm and .deb packages Next Nomikai: (?)
