tlug: -UPS Offer-

Folks,

   That famous, unnamed company is once again cleaning house. This time
   round the broom has swept out a chunky little UPS.

   This system is a Toshiba "Little Star" 2kVA unit (power factor is a
   nominal 0.7, max 1.4kW). It is one metre high, one metre deep, about
   30cm wide and *very* heavy. It has castors and is styled very much
   like a desk-side computer (ie:- it wouldn't look out of place in an
   ordinary office environment).

   This thing is in good working order and would be perfect for the
   TLUG server (but I seem to recall Scott mentioning that the PHT
   office already had a UPS).

   Anyway, if anyone is interested in using this for their Linux
   systems, please contact me. You'll need to arrange pick-up (this is
   much too heavy for Takkyubin). For newer members I should probably
   mention (in case it's not obvious) that this is being given away,
   not sold.
