Hi Jim, jim> Well, I'm still stumped by the Sparc Linux PAM stuff. It still jim> won't let me log in as a regular user for ftp. The switch to turn control off on RedHat 5.0's PAM system is to set the library from "required" to "sufficient". The pam.conf file has been supersceded by the pam.d subdirectory as well. It works OK for me, and becomes active as soon as the parameter is changed. -Joe.
