As it happens, I attended the Linux User Group of Singapore meeting on
Friday, February 13th. They meet on the second Friday evening of every
month at one of the lecture rooms at the Singapore Telecom Academy.

The February meeting featured a (long) talk on computer security, by an
Australian "security consultant" that is currently working for one of the
local banks. The meeting started just before 7:30 and the speaker was still
going strong when I snuck out at 10:30.

This meeting had what I'm told was higher than normal attendance at about 25
people. It was much more of a structured "meeting with presentation" than
we are used to in TLUG.
