Cool. I just purchased a Japanese book on LaTeX, published by
ASCII publishing. The main focus of the book is on pTeX. I'm
glad that it'll be relevant to my installation and study of the
system.

I've had problems with compatibilities in the past and have
avoided upgrading my working LaTeX system since I'm reliant
on LaTeX for work and play and was worried about the
dreaded situation of, "I've got to revise that contract,
but LaTeX is broken." Or, for entertainment purposes,
"Oh no, I can no longer update my linux-nihongo web page."
I tend to push LaTeX a bit with my pet interest in graphics,
font shapes, drawings, alignments, and other things to waste
time. Kind of like fiddling with my desktop. That aesthetic
element is so important when I'm in avoidance behavior mode
and critical work is piled up.

Since my Red Hat filesystem has nothing critical on it at the
moment, I thought it was a good opportunity to challenge
Japanese LaTeX again. I'll try and remember to bring the
Japanese LaTeX book to the meeting tomorrow if someone wants to glance
at it during the meeting.

Regards,
Craig
