tlug: Pilot and Linux

Hi,
I arranged to have Santa deliver a PalmPilot Pro to my
stocking for Christmas. I got a lot of good information
from Ian Goldberg's (of "I hacked Netscape" fame) page
at the Internet Security, Applications, Authentication and
Cryptography page.
  http://www.isaac.cs.berkeley.edu/pilot/

I have xcopilot 0.4 running on Linux with Ian's patch for
PalmPilot Pro. I'm also running pilot-link.0.8.9. Japanese
input is okay using Yamada's JOS http://www.tt.rim.or.jp/~tatsushi
based on skk (it seems). I'm also using his text viewer
to get text in compressed format.

I want to synch my desktop and xcopilot and physical pilot
for the purpose of having a mothership-scoutship relationship
similar to the Windows desktop environment and pilot relationship.

Is xcopilot the best strategy? If so, how can I sync the two
devices?

Regards,
Craig
