I'd have to agree with Craig.  I am an NT user and Exceed is the only
thing that keeps me sane.  It can be setup to be an XDMCP-query client,
or I think it can be an Xserver as well (haven't tried that).  I haven't
tried it with Linux either (my NT laptop IS my linux machine at night),
but the HPUX and Solaris Machines in my office spit out a dtlogin screen
that will cover your old desktop and make you think you are on a Unix
workstation.  I can't see any reason why it won't work with Linux.
