Your ifconfig looks fine (except for that mask seems strange for a P-t-P connection, but I don't think that matters if your routing is correct). Do a `route -n' (the `-n' is to keep route from trying to look up the names of the IP addresses in its table, which will probably fail). That should have at least three entries, something like Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 130.158.99.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 35 ppp0 127.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 22 lo 0.0.0.0 130.158.99.254 0.0.0.0 UG 1 0 72 ppp0 where 130.158.99.0 will probably have non-zero in the last place and be the IP of your ISP's port (ie, same as P-t-P in the ifconfig output). The only non-null gateway will be the same as the P-t-P host.
