now 10,000. (price will probably go down significantly in near future)
If you quit GOL and join TWICS, it's 5,000 yen signup right now.
Take that Rog... (friendly rivalry) :-)

1,670 yen

well, it is 20,000 yen/year which is 1,667 yen/month. Around.
We'll be offering monthly billing soon. There may be a slight
charge for monthly billing.

64Kbps ISDN. 100% digital lines on all channels with
automatic analog detection and drop down to analog modems
if necessary. Right now all modems are set at 33.6Kbps.

We don't have this. Actually, this is the first time I've heard of
an ISP in Japan doing this. It is common in the U.S. where local
phone charges are free.

Unlimited usage.

I'll guarantee it'll work with Linux pppd. We have
three native English-speaking engineers (I'm not one of the engineers)
you can speak to that have computer science degrees.
Config file for Solaris also available.

All systems run on HP RAID 5 disks, HP Enterprise 9000 PA-RISC
servers, HP OmniBack automated backup, redundant Internet
feeds using Borderless Gateway Protocol 4, HP UPS automated systems,
and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't want to bore you with.

We also have a 4,800 yen/month account with no signup that
lets you connect at 128Kbps, 15 megs of space, full CGI
support (for example, Perl5 intepretter built into
web server as a module), commercial Reuters newsfeeds,
full UNIX shell access, two BBS systems, and a lot of
other stuff that will probably bore you.

Perhaps the most important piece of information is that
we have our own Quake and Quake World servers and you
get to blow away the TWICS staff with rocket
launchers if we frustrate you.
The TWICS staff team consists of 3 men and 2 women. Join us
every Thursday night and quite often on Sunday. We'll
have our rocket launchers ready.

Yes, I do run Quake and Quake World on Linux. Just say
no to Windows.

Regards,
Craig
