tlug: Gnus success, partly!

Well, after diddling around from time to time, I finally got
Gnus to do Japanese reasonably well. I put in the apel, mel,
semi and gnus-mime extensions, and that all seemed to be
necessary. It seems that some folks out there are using
something else, as a number of headers and messages have
moji-bake. Seems that I recall Steve Turnbull mentioning
something about how this can get twisted around in forwarding
and replying. Could be due to M$-based newsreaders. :-)

One thing I'm getting fuddled about now is the implementation
of mail in Gnus. Right now I have MH-compatible folders, and
whenever I try to get Gnus to work with them, I get errors
about a bad mail file call, and possible corruption. Anyone
out there using Gnus for mail that has a .gnus file I could
have a peek at? I've followed the man and faq to the letter
and it's just not working here.
