I happened to be looking through the documentation for ImageMagick today and was surprised to notice the warning there that ImageMagick will crash and burn occasionally if the swap space is less than 80 Megabytes. 80 ?!? I had always thought that a swap space equal to the size of your physical memory was a good rule of thumb. Are there other programs like this out there?
