-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from Daniel Griffith <tokka@example.com> -------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I'm new on this list, and trying to find some information on running Linux on a NEC PC98 series computer. My company in our Osaka office have a Sun webserver, and I've been doing development for it using MkLinux on a Macintosh. However I've now got to do some stuff with Java cgi's and there's no Java for Mac Linux... In our Tokyo office we have tons of unused NEC's, and so the obvious solution is to use one of those - somebody a year ago gave me a FreeBSD cdrom that had patches for PC98, but I'd rather stick to Linux. So... does anyone know how I can get (preferably redhat) Linux up and running on a PC98? daniel ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below ----------------------------------------------------------------- The TLUG mailing list is proudly sponsored by TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System.
