-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from Totoro <riley@example.com> -------------------------------------------------------- I switched over to a new Gateway machine recently, and put in the same SB card I'd used in another before. With RH 4.2 and the errata, I'm unable to play regular sound files like *.au and *.wav. However, audio cd's play just fine. I've gone thru several files on the net and the ldp included, but haven't been able to find anything related to this. On boot, the initialization looks normal and no errors come out. Using "cat /dev/snstat" gives me the card info. It just won't play audio files. :-( Any ideas about where to look on this? TIA!!
