I played with it for only half an hour, and the settings weren't configured
for my system, so don't take my comments as a comprehensive review of lg.

First, yes, it has drag-and-drop capabilities. If configured properly, I think
you could launch a program just by draging a data file. You can also group 
several files (data and/or programs) together, much like the program groups 
of Win3.1. Oh, there is also an icon representing the trash can.

There is an icon bar, from where you can launch programs, set your preferences,
repaint the desktop and empty the trash can. Another icon allows a system
administrator to configure the system, with tools like those present in the
Red-hat control-panel. Clicking on another button you can change to another
pre-configured desktop layout (there are layouts for normal users, power
users, system administrator, and custom ones).
   
But what I liked most was the file browser. You can launch the program 
associated to a data file by double-clicking on it, and perform other
operations on the file by right-clicking. With this, any Mac/Win95 user
could migrate to Linux painlessly .
