Hi

I'm using f2c, which is actually fortran to C compiler (i.e. it generates 
C-code), and therefore you need a C compiler itself (gcc or ...)

f2c is quite nice and actually you can even forget that it's not a real 
compiler. Together with gcc it looks quite "FORTRAN-compiler"-like.
