-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from gaijin@example.com (John Little) -------------------------------------------------------- Many thanks for adding my link Jim, and thanks for maintaining the TLUG pages, too. In defence of my son, I have to say that he has toned his pages down somewhat since I told him that he'd go blind if he kept on doing that. :-) :-) :-) On a slightly different subject, I managed to get 2.0.30 compiled on my ELC at the weekend (with ip_masquerading enabled). It seems that this version of the kernel is *much* more stable than the 2.0.27 original when running PPP. RPM (after several abortive attempts) did a pretty good job of creating a complete, updated kernel RPM from my config, so if anyone else wants 2.0.30 with ip_masq included, please let me know. (IP masquerading allows all of the machines on your home 'net to access the internet through your PPP dialup machine.) -John- ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below ----------------------------------------------------------------- The TLUG mailing list is proudly sponsored by TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System.
