tlug: A little sendmail detail

--------------------------------------------------------
tlug note from Dennis McMurchy <denismcm@example.com>
--------------------------------------------------------
  Hi,

This is kind of an unimportant little detail, but it bothers me.
In the headers of all my outgoing mail is the line:

X-Authentication-Warning: tangrending: denismcm owned process doing -bs

tangrending (=tojinmachi) is the hostname here, and denismcm is my
usual login. It seems really unnecessary for this line to go out with
every piece of mail I send (besides it sounds like I'm doing something
a little underhanded). The -bs option to sendmail exists,

-bs Use the SMTP protocol as described in RFC821 on standard in-
	  put and output.

but neither the manpage nor the sendmail.cf file have anything on
authentication.

Anyone know how to tame the beast?

Dennis McMurchy,
Tojinmachi, Fukuoka
