I've got one of these as well. Yeah, resolution isn't great, but you can grab pictures in the oddest situations... Stephen> I'm looking for Linux drivers for the IrDA and ASK IR Stephen> links (IrDA for the Color Zaurus, ASK for the old Stephen> PI-5000). Anybody know anything about this? I've had a hell of a time getting the Sharp IrDA gizmo to work. The driver seems to be installed OK, but it never sees anthing from the Zaurus. I ended up getting the serial connnect for my desktop. Using a ThinkPad with buildin IrDA, it works fine. Stephen> Sharp only sells Win95-J based software (I haven't tried Stephen> to load it on Windows 3.1, but I bet it doesn't work). Most likely not. There does not seem to be very much info on the Color Z. yet. For the old ones, you can write your own programs etc. Andy ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below ----------------------------------------------------------------- The TLUG mailing list is proudly sponsored by TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System.
