-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from "Jim Schweizer" <schweiz@example.com> -------------------------------------------------------- Hi all, Well, I've decided to *finally* start learning how to use emacs (can you believe the entire TLUG home page was done in vi?) and I must say the shear size of the man page/help files has been a bit of a put-off. This is just a small peeve, but I hope someone can point me in the right direction. My home directory is filling up with files called things like .saves-67-wormhole and test.html~. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks, Jim S. ------------------------------------------------------------ Jim Schweizer JPS Solutions http://www1.harenet.or.jp/~schweiz/ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below ----------------------------------------------------------------- The TLUG mailing list is proudly sponsored by TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System.
