IP spoofing

In this months Macuser there is a column on how to do WWWspoofing with
Netscape3.0 (Mac version). I imagine that it is the same for the Linux
version.
I find the topic of IP spoofing much more interesting. Does anyone have
experience in this area?
Anyone out there read TakeDown (Tsutomo Shimamura)?
