This is the line in .fvwmrc that launches it the way I like: Exec "Kterm" exec /usr/X11R6/bin/kterm -sb -sl 500 -j -ls -fk kanji24 -fn 12x24 -fr r24 -cr LightGoldenrod & Then in .Xdefaults, I have these lines (awful having things in different places like this - must tidy up some day): kterm*background: DarkSlateGray kterm*foreground: LightGoldenrod kterm*VT100*Translations: #override \ kterm*allowSendEvents: true (The third and fourth line are for Japanese input). On a 1024x768 screen this makes for very nice, readable kanji - not to mention romaji. What are the rest of you using? Can you beat my color combination for ease of viewing?
