日本語のSubject line

I'm interested in allowing Japanese subject lines on this
and other mailing lists.  This is especially helpful for
the digest which compiles the table of contents from the
subject lines of the individual posts.  Has anyone seen
this function in a mailing list before?

I'm using sendmail and nkf for the text and majordomo
1.93 (I think) with Japanese Perl 5.
