Ted, thanks for this bit of information. I think I'll go with the 2940. Say, if you want to bring some of your Adaptec stuff to LAN Expo and display it in the TWICS booth, feel free to do so. We got 3-COM stuff now. Sorry, should have told you earlier, but I forgot. We are also displaying a 200 mhz Pentium with a 1 gig Jazz drive. The Jazz drive has under 20 ms seek time and is almost as fast as a hard disk. I'm thinking of getting a Jazz drive instead of a SCSI hard disk. Are there any drivers out for Linux yet. BTW, sorry guys, but we got the 200 mhz Pentium running Windows '95. I didn't have enough time to set up a Linux machine for the show. I should have waited before buying the 166 mhz. 200mhz P6 is a much nicer round number. The chip is pretty big.
