Well,
  We're drifting into socio-economic issues here.

1.	Bmail is the 2nd or 3rd most popular email package in the world.  Please 
don't be ethnocentric and discount it because it's not widely used by 
Japanese Linux users.  However, I agree it's the worst mailer I've ever 
used.

2.	I can do something about it, I may not be able to figure out how to stop 
the quoting, but I can always create a new message instead of replying.

3.	Cyber is the cause for the blank subjects, but various Cyber related 
email issues are being fixed regularly.  The Cyber father is on the list, 
and he should send me his bank info so I can wire a few more months payment 
for my home acct.

4.	If your mailer is getting too much data, from this or any mail list, 
consider going client server, i.e. don't use Eudora, etc. which downloads 
the mail to your pc or workstation, use Pine, mail, elm, or something that 
stores your mailbox on the remote server.

I hate it when I do that.

I wasn't serious about censoring posts; what I meant was that it would
be "most efficient" for Majordomo to do the censoring.

I like getting Ted's posts too.  I dislike the fact that he appends
entire messages, but I don't blame him for that.  Computers are
supposed to make life easy ("Transparent Ted" being the foremost
advocate in TLUG :-).  Why should he have to go to the trouble of
weeding out all the irrelevant content?  And his mailer makes it easy
for him to ignore it.  His mailer also allows lines that are far too
long for e-messages (space should be allowed for multiple quoting, and 
lines greater than about 65 characters in length are not ergonomic,
that's why most printed matter is multicolumn).

The mailer is at fault.  There should be a software solution.  The
Draconian one is for Majordomo to reject those posts; there ought to
be a better one (but I'm not sure what it is).

And the problem for digest recipients is much more severe.

What you're missing is apparently the "advanced mail system"
implemented at Cyber ;-)
