Hello, We are considering a plan to loacalize a Public Domain Geographic Information System Software (GIS) for Japanese market. The C language source code is available and we would like to customize some of the routines to read and display (X-lib based display routines) Japanese vector fonts. I am willing to discuss things in more deatils with someone who may have experience and interest in such kind of customization. I am a GIS application specialist (at least I consider myself to be one!!) and write most of my program in Fortran. I am not to much into C programming. The GIS runs on Linux apart from other hardware platforms. We are more interested on PC-Linux platform. Looking forward for your reply Bye Dr. Venkatesh Raghavan raghavan@example.com
