Not sure if anyone else is using Accelerated X but my experience is that Netscape 2.0 crashes when running Accelerated X and reading in a Java applet. I fixed the problem by reverting to XFree86. The new utility xf86config made the setup a simple and fast task. I can't notice any speed decrease, though I do miss the 32K colors I had using Accelerated X.
