Thanks for the detailed description (and the copy of the script, Jim).
I can see exactly what you're doing now. Very neat.
I think I'll follow a similar approach with maybe 4 directories/year
and use "mhonarc -outdir .." to populate them, I have about 6k emails
covering about 12 years.
