Funny! That's not the main issue, of course. It's that they worry they're going to have to eliminate Shift-JIS systems throughout the organization to prevent leakage of Shift JIS (which will break software expecting UTF-8) or accept said breakage. Either way it costs a lot of confusion and work time. Steve
