Well done. :-) Just checking re "open hardware": you didn't really manage to find an open hardware notebook did you? I'm happy that I now have choices [1] for notebooks without Windows pre-installed [2], but getting "open" at the bios or CPU level feels like a pipe dream. Darren [1]: e.g. pcspecialist.co.uk, which are based on Clevo machines, and are assembled to order so offer a lot of component-level customization. Including the OS. [2]: Well, ironically, they install Windows to do the burn-in tests. So the first job is still to wipe windows. But as I don't have a license key, and didn't pay for it, I no longer feel obliged to set it up as dual boot :-)
