Re: [tlug] Free: 1080p Project With Bad Colour

Hi Curt,

I'm interested. Is the screen easily transportable on the train ? When would be a good time to come pick it up ? I work in Meguro so it's a short trip to Shibuya.

Kind regards,
Kenny

I have, free to anybody who wants it, a Mitsubishi LVP-HC7000
projector. It's a 1080p theatre projector, so very quiet but not
hugely bright (though it does work ok in a normally lit room). It's
also larger than avarge, about 40 x 40 x 20 cm. The bulb is new a good
for at least 2000 hours on econ mode or something like 1200 or more on
regular ('bright') mode. It has the usual assortment of inputs (HDMI,
component, composite, DSub-15/VGA) and comes with the remote control.

There's a caveat, of course: there's an issue with the green LCD panel
and so a bright, particularly white background will display somewhat
purplish blotches all over the screen. (It's much less noticable if
you're displaying, e.g., colored text on a black background.)

I also have a 90" theatre screen (which rolls up for transport) that
I'll throw in.

Anyway, if you want to pick it up in Shibuya, it's yours, otherwise
I'm open to ideas as to how best to dispose of this.
