Well, 'many of its counter-intuitive claims depend on a "confusing"
and "fictitious" consolidation of government and central banking
operations' wasn't quite going to cut it for me, so I started reading
his paper. In the intro he stated his conclusion would be "that
neo-chartalism is truly part of post-Keynesian economics."
Well, I had to look that up, and found out that "Post-Keynesian
economists are united in maintaining that Keynes' theory is seriously
misrepresented by the two other principal Keynesian schools:
neo-Keynesian economics...and new Keynesian economics....
Suddenly, for some reason, the People's Front of Judea came to mind...
