Okay, so I went to this article to get my daily dose of panic:
http://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-hack-any-linux-machine-just-using-backspace/?tag=nl.e539&s_cid=e539&ttag=e539&ftag=TRE17cfd61
and, I've gotta admit, I am concerned by what I read there.
So, I went to the GITHub D/L site (link is embedded in the above
article) and grabbed the patch. I double clicked, got the diff found
... and newbie me doesn't know what to do next. Do I manually locate
and patch those lines in the two files or is there some command to give
that automates the cut-and-replace process?
Just when I start to believe I have some of this figured out ...
