Thanks Jens. I had not thought of that at all.I don't think I will use it for this project idea though. If it is not /proc it wouldn't be so intuitive to the wider public I think, and my intention was to only add this for them. Also in terms of performance I liked the idea that the 'file' is filled by a callback function that is only executed when someone reads the file. No continual updating of the file content is required.Cheers,Akira
