I bought them from amazon japan: http://www.amazon.co.jp/BUFFALO-%E7%84%A1%E7%B7%9ALAN%E5%AD%90%E6%A9%9F-%E3%82%B3%E3%83%B3%E3%83%91%E3%82%AF%E3%83%88%E3%83%A2%E3%83%87%E3%83%AB-11n%E6%8A%80%E8%A1%93%E3%83%BB11g-WLI-UC-GNM/dp/B003NSAMW2/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1410442256&sr=8-14&keywords=raspberry+pi nigelHello nigel,i have the same wireless pen but it doesn't work with free debian driver in wheezy. And the confirmation is on this official page https://wiki.debian.org/rt2800usb where you can see you need to download proprietary firmware. Maybe raspbian has some proprietary firmware already installed ( i have never checked about that )On 20 March 2015 at 15:55, Dotpix <g.scarsella@example.com> wrote:On 03/20/2015 02:07 AM, Scott Robbins wrote:On Thu, Mar 19, 2015 at 11:59:00PM +0900, Nicolas Limare wrote:Hi,in the last few days i failed to find some micro wireless pen which is working with debian free OS drivers. Any of you had same problem and found something already?I don't understand what this device is. From your example, it just looks like a regular USB storage device, small form factor. Where is the "wireless" function?Sorry maybe i was not clear in explanation but the pen you see in the ebay link was just as example about the size of the pendrive i wanted to find. So i was searching for something same size but wireless and working with debian free OS drivers.I'm guess that the OP means a wireless device with USB connection, maybe something like this. http://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-7811Un-150Mbps-Raspberry-Supports/dp/B003MTTJOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426784757&sr=8-1&keywords=edimax+ew+7811 (That particular one works out of the box with Mint, as well as FreeBSD-10.1 (though not FreeBSD-9.x)Thank you so much Scott... i think that's what i was searching for.... i saw same pendrive in the debian list few days ago but i couldn't find it on sale :( I'll buy and check if it's working and will confirm so that others will not waste time in same research. :) Giorgio -- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://lists.tlug.jp/list.html The TLUG mailing list is hosted by ASAHI Net, provider of mobile and fixed broadband Internet services to individuals and corporations.
