There seems to be a broken dependency chain. In order to see why apt wants to
remove bash, do

apt-get -s -o Debug::pkgProblemResolver=1 install bash

which will -s(imulate) the process and output the reasoning of APT (a lengthy
text log). It will ultimately tell you what really is wrong.
