One of the required steps during the installation script checks if 
there is a "rDNS" record configured for the initial, "master" domain of 
the server. No need to run for yourself, I remember this requirement 
explicitly mentioned somewhere in their installation documentation.

And from personal experience I've always thought this as a requirement 
for a mailserver in particular.

Anyways, if it works for you, that's great! :)
