On my acer aspire one I have /boot and / on the 8G ssd, and /home on the sd card expansion. I was glad of that when I got > 1G of xsession errors a few weeks ago. For a decent-sized disk, though, I generally go with /boot and / only. In the past I have regretted giving too much to /home and running out of space on /usr. nigel
