After withdrawing from xfig, I've since moved to dia for line drawings, diagrams, etc. I haven't saved in SVG yet, so I don't know how well it supports it. I wouldn't mind trying something else new, but I haven't bothered looking. It's still a step up from xfig (IMHO). Ray
