Wow -- thanks for this, Darren!  I have been trying [but not 
very hard] to find a way to get my Thunderbird (actually, 
Iceweasel...) to have an English menu but display dates as 
YYYY-MM-DD.  Guess I've been in Japan too long...  :-)

One day when I'm bored, I was thinking of going through all 
of the en_* locales.  But this seems to be what I'm looking 
for; thanks!
