Japanese companies have pulled quite a bit of money out of Australia in the past few days (it's been parked here because our interest rates are quite high.) It's resulted in the Yen and the $A heading in different directions. Our planned trip to Japan later this year has just got about 5% more expensive, and it's likely to get worse.
