FYI, the "old" style is still being used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and
Korea (with minor variations).

Then there is the simplified Chinese style used in China and Singapore.

In that sense, the "joyo" style is the minority, as it is only being
used by Japan, as one might expect!  ;)
