That's what I love about it. For easy reset buttons let the windowz users continue with Crtl-alt-del.

Will Try this. I haven't yet have chance to try to boot from a live CD again. 
But the booting problem is odd too. New releases of almost any distro (or at let the ones I tried) do not boot. Older one do! :) 
My bad to assume it had to do with grub. and it is not related to myu BIOS as I am prioritizing boot from CD (I just get a black screen with a brinking cursor (underscore type)
The answer must rely on some sort of kernel config. Will investigate in depth and try other settings and report the findings.
