Sounds like a good machine. Actually, I had one used laptop in
particular that worked out really well, and some other ones that were
okay, but I also got a few bad ones, and developed a bit of an allergy
to used laptops from that experience....

And I have a very recent experience... I was lent a Dell laptop to use
for a 10-day video presentation (with the computer showing a 50-minute
video in loop mode for about ten hours a day):

 - and it worked fine... until the very day that I gave it back to its
owner. Just a couple of hours before meeting, I fired it up and was
deleting video files when the hard drive fried (I think - at this
point, there s no sign of life with the machine at all - no BIOS
screen, no "Dell" logo - nothing, and it eats power supplies.)

That SSD sounds good! I have one in a desktop machine, but the way I
use it (not as the primary drive), it doesn't make much difference.
