Godwin, Romeo, Curt, Darren, Thank you for replying. I went with creating .desktop files that launched the scripts by appending "gnome-terminal -e" to the beginning of the command, as Godwin suggested. Then I added them to my Gnome panel in a drop down menu, so I can just click on them to run my script every time. Nice! Thanks for all the suggestions! -- Dave M G
