Gen,

These things are starting to interest me now. I want something small and quiet(er than what I have) to stick GNU/Linux on as a server machine but I need 2 eSATA ports for my rsync'd backup drives, so this is *almost* a perfect fit. 

At a pinch I could put an SATA hub on the back, but for now I'll wait and see if that's likely in future models. Certainly my noisy old server still has some life in it .

Has anyone tried the new Acer Aspire Revo?  It runs Linux, and can  
decode 1080p HD video on the Nvidia Ion GPU.  Comes with HDMI.  Less  
than 40,000 yen retail.  Sounds like a great XBMC box.
