John, Thanks for responding.
However, it is 2009. Consider an alternative to NFS. For example one of the many SSH filesystems.
Whatever works and is easiest to set up.
apt-get install sshfssshfs user@example.com:/mnt/ipod /mnt/ipod
Doesn't that assume that the Android will always mount at /mnt/disk-1? It seems to vary the name. Anywhere from disk-1 to disk-3 depending on what else I've got going on.
