Dear Fellow TLUG Members,
Lately I've been getting the following error messages (repeated several times) when booting Ubuntu 8.04. It seems fairly likely that there is a problem with my hard disk, but when I run fsck on it, it comes back clean. Anyone know what the problem may be? A physical problem with the disk perhaps?

These error messages also occur when I try to update my installed packages via the Update Manager (apt-get upgrade).
Cheers,
